New Mobile Phones on the Block

Technology is rapidly progressing and this is not new to all those who are up-to-date with the recent developments in this arena. The most frequently used advanced technologies are the mobile phones and in countries like the UK, mobile phones are passe while smart phones are the new in-thing. Amongst the new mobile phones that have been released in this segment of voguish smart phones, there is one phone that has created extreme vibes in the market as the fastest phone developed ever. Now why we call it the fastest phone, you will soon find out.

Amongst the various companies like Motorola, Apple, Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson, and their newest smart phone creations, a product of LG stands out in the crowd for its supreme performance speeds and ultimate multi-tasking capabilities as compared to other new mobile phones. The phone is termed the LG Optimus 2X.

The LG Optimus 2X is due to release in the UK market by mid-Feb or at the onset of March 2011 but the phone was recently officially launched at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011 to the eager eyes of technological enthusiasts. The phone, at the first sight, takes your breath away with its gorgeous styling and overall body contour as opposed to any previous models from the LG. The phone has a 4 inch super clarity WVGA screen with 480 x 800 pixel resolution and touch sensitive controls and 16M colors. The picture quality of the screen of the grand smart phone LG Optimus 2X is breathtaking and to add to the excitement the phone is loaded with 1080p HD video recording and playback with a 8.1 mp rear end camera. The phone also has HDMI mirroring technology and it can be wirelessly connected to any compatible HD big screen in order to transfer the videos with ease.

The major turning point of this newest LG invention as opposed to other new mobile phones is the dual core Tegra 2 NVIDIA processor that empowers enough momentum in the phone to speed up all the various hi-tech tasks and allow no space for screen lag or browsing lag. The phone has a 1 GHz mobile CPU and an in-built 8GB memory which is expandable up to 32 GB. With all this in hand, LG has managed to keep the weight of the handset at 139 grams and allowed the dimensions to fit well into your palm for easy handling and storage.

For those who impose a lot of significance on the display quality, the good news is that the LCD display on the LG Optimus 2X is a step ahead of any other new mobile phones introduced in the UK market. While Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc may seem to sport the best screens in town thanks to the integration of the Sony Mobile Bravia engine in the phone, the LG Optimus 2X LCD quality still beats the Xperia Arc quality in terms of contrast degradation at even not so wild angles.

There are raving reviews being heard about this mobile phone and apart from all the great features and certain drawbacks the phone is a true champion when it comes to processing speeds and browsing quality.
